How to make an origami RoseバラRose

A rose seen from above. Fold the corners to the center three times, then tuck the center tips under at a slant, all in the same direction. The petals seem to swirl! A green calyx goes behind.

How to fold

Start with the white side of the red paper up. Fold in half both ways, then unfold.

Fold all four corners to the center (blintz fold).

Fold the four new corners to the center again.

Fold the corners to the center one more time. That makes three times.

Tuck the tip of each center flap under itself, along a slanted line.

Tuck the four tips that appear in the middle the same way, slanted in the same direction.

Fold the four outer corners behind a little to round the flower.

Calyx: start with the white side of the small green sheet up. Fold all four corners to the center.

Glue the rose on top of the calyx.

Finished! Your rose is finished! Glue it on a card, or make lots of them for a bouquet. Fold one from yellow paper for Father’s Day.
