How to make an origami Carnationカーネーション(チャレンジ)Carnation (Challenge)

A carnation with five spreading petals, folded from the waterbomb base. You fold the front and back flaps up at different angles.

★Carnation (First Fold)

How to fold

Start with the white side up. Fold in half on both diagonals and unfold.

    Turn it over.

Fold in half from top to bottom and unfold.

Bring the sides in along the creases and collapse into a triangle. This is the waterbomb base.

Fold the top point behind through all the layers.

Fold the left and right corners of the top layer up at a slant from the middle of the bottom edge. These are petals.

    Turn it over.

Fold these corners up too, a little more upright than before.

    Turn it over.

Fold the tips of the four petals behind a little.

Finished! Draw frilly edges on the petals, plus a green calyx and stem. Your carnation is finished! Glue it on a thank-you card.
