🦉 Fun Fact! In 1995, the art historian Yonekura Michio argued that the Jingoji portrait shows Ashikaga Tadayoshi. One reason is a document from 1345 in which Tadayoshi wrote that he had given portraits of himself and his brother Takauji to Jingoji. Many scholars disagree, and the question is still open.
