🦉 Fun Fact! X-rays showed that a woman sitting by the water was first painted where the young man now stands. Giorgione changed his mind, painted over her and added the young man. This discovery made the meaning of the painting even more mysterious.

【本文の訳】遠くの町の空に稲妻が光り、嵐が近づいています。左には長い杖を持った若者が立ち、右では赤ちゃんを抱いた女性が、こちらをちらりと見ています。二人の間には川と、折れた柱。ヴェネツィアの画家ジョルジョーネが描いたこの小さな絵が何を表しているのか、500年たった今もはっきりわかっていません。
