🦉 Fun Fact! The officer's large hat is thought to be made of expensive beaver fur. Beavers had almost disappeared from Europe, so the fur may have come from distant places such as Canada or Siberia. Long-distance trade made fashionable hats like this possible.

帽子の毛皮は遠い土地から？ 士官の大きな帽子は、高価なビーバーの毛皮で作られたと考えられています。当時ヨーロッパではビーバーがほとんど姿を消していたため、毛皮はカナダやシベリアなど遠い土地から運ばれたのかもしれません。遠くの国との貿易が、士官のおしゃれを支えていたのです。
