Jesus eats dinner with twelve friends. He says, 'One of you will betray me.' Everyone is surprised. Leonardo da Vinci painted this on a wall. Later, someone made a door in the wall!

The Last Supper shows Jesus's last meal with his twelve disciples, the night before he was put on the cross. Leonardo da Vinci painted it for Ludovico Sforza, the ruler of Milan. It is on a wall of the dining hall of the convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie. It is 4.6 meters tall and 8.8 meters wide.

【本文の訳】最後の晩餐は、イエス・キリストが十字架にかけられる前の夜、12人の弟子たちと最後の食事をする場面です。ミラノの君主ルドヴィーコ・スフォルツァの依頼で、レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチがサンタ・マリア・デッレ・グラツィエ修道院の食堂の壁に描きました。大きさは縦4.6メートル、横8.8メートルもあります。
