持ち主は「ホープ・ダイヤモンド」の一族 この絵を長く持っていたホープ家は、あの有名な青いダイヤモンド「ホープ・ダイヤモンド」の持ち主でもありました。19世紀末、一族のフランシス・ホープは絵のコレクションを手放し、その数年後にダイヤも売っています。
