This is the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The painter loved it. He painted it many times. At first, many artists did not like the tower. They said it was ugly!

A yellow and orange Eiffel Tower rises at an angle from the bottom to the top. Around it are green and yellow propeller-like forms, sweeping pink curves, and blocks of blue and green. Robert Delaunay, a painter born in Paris, made it in 1924. It is now in the Dallas Museum of Art in Texas.

🦉 Fun Fact! In 1887, while the tower was being built, famous artists such as the writer Maupassant and the composer Gounod wrote a protest in a newspaper. They called it a useless monster. The next generation, like Delaunay, painted it as a symbol of the new age.
