入試の言い換え

• because 〜なので — 新情報の理由を強く述べる時は because の方が適切
• as 〜なので — 軽い理由。since と同じく文頭に置かれやすい
• now that 今や〜なので — 状況が変わったことによる理由
• given that 〜を考えると — 前提となる事実を示す
• seeing that 〜であるからには — 目の前の事実を理由にする

since は『前提として共有されている理由』を示すので、文頭に置いて Since A, B. とするのが基本。because が『理由そのものを伝える』のに対し、since は『Aなんだから、当然B』という流れを作る。
