Ethan	Wow, what's this big plate? It looks like a rainbow.
Wei Ling	It's yusheng, a raw fish salad. We eat it together during the New Year.
Ethan	Why today? Is the seventh day special?
Wei Ling	Yes. People say it's everyone's birthday. It's a popular day for yusheng.
Ethan	Everyone's birthday? I like that. So how do we eat it?
Wei Ling	Take your chopsticks. We toss it up together and shout, "Lo hei!"
Ethan	Toss it up? Won't the food fly everywhere?
Wei Ling	A little! But the higher you toss, the higher your luck goes.
Ethan	Then I'm going to toss it really high!
Wei Ling	Good. And say your wishes out loud while you toss, like "More money!"
Ethan	Is that why my boss is tossing so hard?
Wei Ling	Ha ha! Maybe. Everyone wants a good year.
Ethan	In Japan, we eat special food at New Year too, but we eat quietly.
