Emma	Wow, look at all those fish over the river! What are they?
Haruto	They're koinobori, carp streamers. We fly them for Children's Day on May 5.
Emma	Why carp? Why not a cute animal?
Haruto	There's an old Chinese story. A carp swam up a waterfall and became a dragon.
Emma	So the carp means a strong kid. I like that!
Haruto	Right. It used to be the boys' festival, but now it's for all children.
