Olivia	Kenta, are you free on Saturday? We're cleaning up the park for Earth Day.
Kenta	Earth Day? What's that?
Olivia	It's a day to think about our planet. It started here in the U.S. in 1970.
Kenta	Wow, that's more than 50 years ago.
Olivia	Yes. A senator from Wisconsin came up with the idea after a big oil spill.
Kenta	Wisconsin? That's where we are now!
Olivia	Right. His name was Gaylord Nelson. About 20 million people joined the first one.
Kenta	That's a lot! What do people do now?
Olivia	They pick up trash, plant trees, and some people ride their bikes to work.
Kenta	In Japan, we have Environment Day in June. But I didn't know about Earth Day.
Olivia	Then this is your first one! Bring some gloves and your own water bottle.
Kenta	OK. I'll bring a bag for cans, too. Let's make the park shine!
